| One of my new year resolutions is to read 50 books this year, and here goes book one : )
Books I've Read in 2009。
1. 24個比利 The Minds of Billy Milligan -Daniel Keyes (Jan2 - Jan3.)
My mind is is still in a state of turbulence; I'm still much too overwhelmed to write any sort of review...but here is a quote that deeply moves me:
"不睡覺或未出來時，我好像是臉朝下，躺在一塊沒有邊際的玻璃上，我可以透過玻璃看到遙遠的彼端，那兒就像星光閃耀的外太空。但也有圓形的光圈，就在我面前，我們之間的一些人躺在光圈四周的棺木裡，並未封棺，因為他們還沒死。他們在睡覺，似乎在等待什麼。" 同時，也有一些空棺，因為有些人還沒來。大衛和一些年輕孩子對生命還抱有希望，年紀大的已經放棄了。
“那是甚麼地方？”我問他
“大衛為它取了個名字”，他說道，“因為那是他創造的，大衛稱它為死亡之地。”

離開了兩個星期，有點想念我的鋼琴，有點想念我的朋友。

這裡的冷氣有點兒太冷 餐廳，有點兒太吵
小房間，裝修打鐵的聲音，臭廁所，癢鼻子，爛店員，瘋子鄰居，
我都很快適應了。
彷彿...本來就應該這樣子。
是溫哥華的空氣太新鮮，店員太有禮貌，朋友太多...
你現在是否過著你喜歡的生活模式？
我不經意地問自己。
其實離開，沒有半點猶疑。所以也沒有後悔的餘地。
我 過著我喜歡的生活。
你們都問我為甚麼要到這邊去，
翅膀飛不起，只好坐飛機到一個地方去咯。
